Tree Trimming & Pruning

ISA-aligned pruning that improves health, structure, and curb appeal.

Good pruning is the single best investment you can make in a tree. Done right, it extends the tree's life by decades, reduces storm risk, and keeps your home, fences, and walkways clear. Done wrong — topping, lion-tailing, flush cuts — it shortens the tree's life and creates the exact failures you were trying to prevent.

  1. 1Health & structure evaluation
  2. 2Targeted pruning per ISA standards
  3. 3Debris hauled, property left tidy

Signs you need this

  • Dead or hanging limbs visible in the canopy
  • Branches rubbing on the roof, gutters, or siding
  • Limbs growing into power service drops to your house
  • Heavy, lopsided canopy that needs balancing before storm season

What's included

  • On-site evaluation by an ISA Certified Arborist
  • Pruning plan with a clear objective per tree
  • Cuts made to ANSI A300 / ISA standards — no topping, no lion-tailing
  • Clearance pruning from roof, gutters, and structures (3–6 ft typical)

What it costs & how we keep it safe

Pruning is priced by tree, not by the hour, and depends on size, access, and how much work the tree actually needs. A young oak getting structural pruning is quick; a 60-foot grand oak that hasn't been touched in a decade is a full-day job for a climbing crew. Estimates are free and clearly scoped. Our climbers and ground crew are trained to ISA standards and we carry full general liability and workers' comp insurance. For service line clearance to your house, we coordinate with FPL or TECO; we never cut on transmission or distribution conductors — that's utility-only work.
